Great to meet you!

I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor and Houston native with over 15 years of experience in social work and counseling. I hold a Master of Science in Educational Counseling and a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling from Prairie View A&M University, as well as a B.S. in Psychology. My work is grounded in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life transitions, trauma, and loss with clarity and stability.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should be tailored to the individual. I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including Relational Gestalt Therapy (which focuses on present-moment awareness and relationship patterns), Trauma-Focused CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy designed specifically to address trauma), and existential therapy (which explores meaning, identity, and life transitions). I also specialize in grief counseling, helping clients process loss in healthy and sustainable ways.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will take time to understand what has brought you in and how recent stress or trauma may be affecting your life. My goal is to create a steady, supportive space where you feel heard and safe. Together, we will begin identifying patterns, strengths, and practical steps to help you feel more grounded, connected, and whole
