Great to meet you!

  1. Hello and welcome! My name is Gina Carrillo-Jackman, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Ventura County providing therapy via Telehealth. I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California, and have over 20 years experience working with teens and adults from a variety of cultural backgrounds. I specialize in anxiety, depression, life transitions, and school related issues.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaboration in which we explore the changes you would like to see. We all have the inner strength and wisdom we need to make those changes, and I see myself as a guide to support you through this process. I primarily utilize Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral, and Psychodynamic therapies to highlight the mind, body connection, the impact thoughts have on feelings and behavior, and explore how your family history influences your current relationships.

What you can expect from me

I offer a warm, non-judgmental, and safe space for clients to connect and feel free to share whatever is on their minds. I believe when we feel seen, safe, and heard we can open to cultivating self-compassion and living more fulfilling lives true to who we are.
