Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with an MDiv in Clinical Counseling. I believe therapy should be a place where you can exhale, feel safe, and know you don’t have to have everything figured out before you walk through the door.

I work with adults experiencing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship struggles, and difficult seasons of life. I especially understand how much our closest relationships can affect our emotional well-being. Challenges in marriage or relationships, family conflict, parenting, or painful past relationships can leave us feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of ourselves.

I also specialize in trauma and offer EMDR therapy. For those who desire it, I can integrate Christian faith and spiritual values into our work together. Wherever you are when you begin therapy, you are welcome to come as you are.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I want you to feel heard and understood, not judged or rushed. We’ll take time to understand what you’re experiencing, what may be contributing to it, and what you need to begin moving forward.

When working with trauma, I believe your sense of safety and readiness matters. I offer EMDR therapy, but healing isn’t something I believe should be forced or hurried. We’ll go at your pace and work with what you feel ready to address.

Because relationships are such an important part of our lives, I also help clients understand how their experiences and relationship patterns may be affecting them today. Together, we can explore healthier ways to communicate, set boundaries, respond to difficult situations, and care for yourself while navigating the relationships that matter to you.

If faith is important to you, we can also thoughtfully incorporate your Christian faith and spiritual values into therapy.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that you leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, and a little less alone in what you’re carrying. Therapy isn’t about having everything figured out overnight. It’s about gaining a better understanding of yourself, recognizing patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and discovering healthier ways to respond to what life brings.

Over time, I want to help you develop practical tools for managing anxiety, depression, and difficult emotions; work through painful experiences; navigate relationships with greater confidence; and build healthier boundaries and patterns.

Most importantly, I hope our work helps you experience meaningful change—not simply understand what has happened to you, but feel more equipped to move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.

Your first session will be a chance for us to get to know one another in a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can share at your own pace. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you hope will be different, and begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and realistic for you. As we work together, my hope is that you gain a better understanding of yourself, develop practical tools for navigating life and relationships, and begin to feel less stuck or overwhelmed. Ultimately, I want you to leave our work with greater clarity, confidence, and hope.
