Great to meet you!

My ideal client is a devoted, thoughtful parent of young children who loves their family deeply—but often feels stretched thin. Their days are full of snack requests, emotional meltdowns, endless laundry, and the invisible mental checklist that never seems to end. From the outside, they may look like they’re managing just fine. Inside, they’re juggling overwhelm, guilt, and the quiet fear that they’re not doing “enough.” They are parenting in a world that feels louder and faster than ever. They’ve read the books, followed the parenting accounts, maybe even tried to apply advice from experts like Daniel Siegel or Janet Lansbury.

The issue isn’t your commitment—it’s burnout. I will help you work through the struggle with reacting instead of responding, setting boundaries without feeling harsh, and staying calm when your child is not. I’m here to help you lighten the load that makes you lie awake wondering if you handled things “right.”

Let’s find you realistic tools that work in real homes, on little sleep, in loud moments. Let’s get you clarity, confidence, and practical strategies that align with your values. Your goal isn’t perfect behavior—it’s connection, cooperation, and a calmer home. Most of all, you want to trust yourself. You want to enjoy your children, not just manage them.

My approach to therapy

As an LPC, School Counselor and Board Member of Burl.Co. School Counselor's Association, I bring a rare blend of clinical expertise and real-world school insight. My work integrates principles from the Nurtured Heart Approach, along with skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to help parents build connection, strengthen emotional regulation, and shift unhelpful thought and behavior patterns.

What you can expect from me

I ask for your commitment to parent-only sessions, family sessions, and individual child sessions.
