Great to meet you!

You don’t have to keep carrying everything on your own. Therapy can be a place where you finally feel understood and supported in creating meaningful change. I am a trauma specialist who works with adults navigating relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, parenting challenges, divorce, life transitions, and the lasting impact of difficult experiences. Whether you're feeling stuck in old patterns, overwhelmed by emotions, or disconnected from yourself or others, I offer a thoughtful and collaborative space to help you move forward. I also provide therapy in Portuguese.

My approach to therapy

You are more than your symptoms, which is why I tailor therapy to your unique experiences, goals, and strengths. My approach is integrative, drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS), relational, insight-oriented, and behavioral therapies to help you better understand yourself while building practical tools for change. I specialize in trauma treatment and am currently completing a three-year training in Somatic Experiencing, an approach that helps address the impact of trauma and stress through greater awareness of the mind-body connection. Together, we will explore both the deeper roots of your struggles and the pathways toward healing and growth.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity to begin telling your story in a way that feels comfortable and manageable. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, the challenges you're facing, and what you hope will be different in your life. You can expect a warm, engaged, and nonjudgmental conversation where we start identifying patterns, clarifying goals, and creating a plan that feels right for you. Most importantly, you can expect to leave with a clearer understanding of where you are and how we can work together to help you get where you want to be.
