Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Gina. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and the emotional patterns that can develop after difficult or overwhelming experiences. I work with clients who may understand logically that the past is over, but still feel as though their emotions, relationships, or nervous system are reacting to it in the present.

I aim to create a space where you can feel understood, supported, and able to show up as yourself without judgment. Therapy does not have to feel rigid or intimidating. My style is warm, down-to-earth, collaborative, and focused on helping you better understand yourself while creating meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed and individualized. I use EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic strategies, and other evidence-based approaches to help clients process painful experiences, understand recurring emotional patterns, and feel more grounded and connected to themselves.

I believe healing is not only about managing symptoms. It is also about understanding what is underneath them and helping your mind and body recognize that you are no longer in the same place you once were. We work at a pace that feels manageable, and you are always an active part of the process.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a supportive, genuine, and collaborative environment where we focus on both what is happening now and what may be contributing to those patterns underneath the surface.

I will help you build practical coping skills while also exploring deeper healing when appropriate. If we use EMDR or other trauma-focused work, we will first make sure you feel prepared and have tools to stay grounded. You will never be expected to move faster than you are ready for.

My goal is to help you feel less controlled by the past, more connected to yourself, and more confident in how you move forward.
