Great to meet you!

I’m Gina Weber, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) with over 13 years of experience, total, working with teens and adults in outpatient, residential, community mental health, and private practice settings. I’m passionate about helping clients navigate life’s challenges in a way that feels supportive, practical, and personalized to their needs.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, substance use, relationship concerns, couples counseling, life transitions, emotional regulation, and identity-related concerns. I also have experience supporting clients through later-life transitions, men’s issues, women’s issues, and health-related stressors. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while working toward meaningful change.

I am currently in the process of being credentialed to take United Healthcare/Optum insurance.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens through a strong therapeutic relationship. I work to create an environment where clients feel heard, respected, and supported, while also gently challenging patterns that may no longer be serving them.

I use an integrative approach, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based techniques. Depending on your needs, sessions may focus on insight, practical coping strategies, emotional regulation, communication skills, or creating healthier patterns in daily life and relationships.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brings you to therapy. We’ll talk about your current concerns, relevant background, goals, and what you hope to gain from the process. I also welcome any questions you may have so you can get a sense of whether I’m the right fit for you.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable, supported, and not alone in what you’re facing. Therapy doesn’t require having everything figured out before you begin. We’ll take it one step at a time and work together in a way that feels manageable and meaningful to you.
