Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care in a supportive and nonjudgmental environment. My goal is to help clients feel heard, understood, and empowered as they work toward improved emotional well-being.

My clinical experience includes caring for adolescents and adults with a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, substance abuse disorders, and other mood and behavioral concerns. I believe that every person's experience is unique, and I take an individualized approach to treatment by combining thoughtful psychiatric evaluation, medication management when appropriate, and education to help clients make informed decisions about their care.

I earned my advanced nursing education as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, my Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, and have a background in nursing that has allowed me to care for individuals across diverse healthcare settings. These experiences have strengthened my understanding of the connection between physical and mental health, as well as the importance of treating the whole person.

My approach to therapy

I strive to create a collaborative therapeutic relationship built on trust, respect, and open communication. Whether you're seeking support for a new concern or managing a long-term mental health condition, I'm committed to working alongside you to develop a treatment plan that aligns with your goals and helps you achieve lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our initial session, we'll discuss what brought you to treatment, review your mental and medical health history, explore your current symptoms, and talk about your personal goals. I'll take the time to understand your unique experiences, strengths, and challenges so we can develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

If medication is appropriate, we'll discuss the available options, including potential benefits, risks, and what you can expect moving forward. My approach emphasizes shared decision-making, ensuring you feel informed and actively involved in every step of your care.

By the end of our first session, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of your diagnosis, an individualized treatment plan, and realistic next steps toward improving your mental health and overall well-being. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the path ahead.
