Great to meet you!

I am a licensed psychologist providing telehealth therapy for individuals seeking support for anxiety, chronic stress, trauma-related symptoms, ADHD challenges, sleep difficulties, or big life transitions. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed or stuck and want practical tools and insight to move forward.

A central part of my work is with adoptees and those impacted by adoption. Together, we can gently explore the Seven Core Issues in Adoption—such as loss and grief, rejection, identity, attachment and intimacy, guilt and shame, control and mastery, and belonging—always at a pace that feels safe and respectful of your story.

I believe therapy works best when it’s a true partnership. My clients can expect openness, gentle honesty, and steady encouragement from me throughout our work together. I check in regularly to see what’s helpful, and I adapt our work to meet your evolving needs and goals.

Together, we’ll celebrate progress—big or small—and I use simple check-ins and brief measures to help us notice changes over time, making sure you feel empowered and supported throughout your journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in real-life strategies. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely supported. I help clients understand how emotional and behavioral patterns develop and work with you to build strategies for better day-to-day functioning, emotional regulation, and confidence in relationships and decision-making.

Sessions are thoughtfully paced, and I strive to make therapy a calm, safe place for exploring challenges and making sustainable change. I value clarity, transparency, and genuine collaboration, and I regularly use brief outcome measures to guide treatment and track progress over time.

What you can expect from me

.The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin creating a space that feels safe, supportive, and collaborative. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping for, and anything you feel is important for me to understand right now. You don’t need to have everything figured out, and there’s never any pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

Because it’s an intake, I’ll ask some questions to better understand what you’ve been experiencing and how it’s been affecting your daily life. We’ll also start thinking together about what you’d like to get out of therapy—whether that’s relief from certain symptoms, support with specific challenges, or broader life changes. We’ll move at your pace, and you’re always welcome to pause or ask questions at any point. By the end of our first meeting, my hope is that you’ll have a sense of what working together will feel like, and we’ll have some initial ideas about what you’d like to focus on as we move forward.
