Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in the treatment of adolescents and adults for issues relating to depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, parenting, pregnancy/postpartum concerns, stress, and relationship/family concerns. I utilize an eclectic, client-centered approach tailored to the needs of the client and incorporating evidence-based therapeutic techniques rooted in CBT, ACT, solution-focused, and mindfulness.

My approach to therapy

I believe that each client is the expert in their own life and struggles. However, we all lose our way sometimes and can forget the unique strengths we all possess. Therapy can be a useful tool to help rediscover our strengths, regain balance in our lives, take control of the issues that are causing distress, and set new goals for the future.

What you can expect from me

My goal with each client is to develop an environment in which the client feels safe, free from judgement, and supported in their journey. The therapeutic alliance is one of the best predictors of good therapy outcomes, so I place an emphasis in the beginning on establishing rapport. I encourage the client to ask questions and be a partner in their treatment.
