Great to meet you!

I'm an LPC with nearly 20 years of experience helping people navigate life's challenges with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools for change. I am especially passionate about helping clients examine and move beyond systems, beliefs, and relationships that no longer serve them. Much of my work centers on supporting women and gender-diverse individuals as they reconnect with their authentic selves, strengthen their voices, and build lives that align with their own values.

I believe that every client is the expert on their own life. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to provide knowledge, perspective, and support as you decide what healing and growth look like for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, holistic, and tailored to each client's unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), mindfulness, and other evidence-based approaches.

I also place a strong emphasis on the connection between the brain, nervous system, and emotional well-being. Together, we'll explore not only thoughts and emotions, but also how your body responds to stress and trauma. My goal is to help you develop practical skills that support lasting change, both mentally and physically.

What you can expect from me

Our first session begins with a brief review of required paperwork, and then we spend the majority of our time getting to know one another. I'll want to understand what has brought you to therapy, what you're hoping will be different, and what goals feel most important to you.

Whenever possible, I like clients to leave the first session with something tangible—a new perspective, a coping strategy, or a practical technique they can begin using right away. Between sessions, I often suggest exercises or "homework" to help reinforce what we're working on together. These are always invitations rather than requirements, and I deeply respect each client's autonomy. Therapy is a collaborative process, and you decide what feels right for you and what you want to focus on.
