Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience across residential and outpatient settings, working with adolescents, young adults, and families. My path to becoming a therapist grew out of my own mental health journey — which means I have a firsthand appreciation for the courage it takes to ask for support, and for how much it matters to feel genuinely seen and understood. I'm EMDR trained and work with people processing trauma alongside the everyday struggles that can quietly make life feel unmanageable. I earned my MSW from the University of North Texas. Whatever brought you here, you won't be figuring it out alone.

My approach to therapy

My approach focuses on the whole person — helping you understand what is and isn't working in your life, and how you got to where you are today. I'm EMDR trained and work across a variety of modalities, building on the strengths you already have rather than starting from scratch. Working in fast-paced, high-acuity environments strengthened my clinical flexibility and reinforced the value of meeting people exactly where they are. My mantra is "nothing changes if nothing changes." Change isn't always comfortable or easy, but my goal is to help you see where you've been stuck and actually shift those patterns — at a pace you can handle, and honestly.

What you can expect from me

Our work together begins with a collaborative intake, where we explore your history, your current concerns, and what you're looking for from therapy. That first session is geared toward understanding your specific experiences and values, so I can support what you actually need rather than what I assume you need. There's no pressure to have everything articulated ahead of time — that's part of what the conversation is for. By the end, you'll have a clearer sense of what we'd work on together and how we'll approach it.
