I'm a talk therapist, EMDR therapy certified & advanced Flash Technique trained - tools that I incorporate to help my clients navigate emotions in the days and weeks following and ongoing.
I offer a warm, grounded space where clients can slow down and make sense of what they’re carrying. My work is relational and trauma-informed, with a focus on how grief (which isn't limited to the passing of someone close to us), anxiety, and early or recent relational experiences show up in the present. I pay close attention to patterns in connection—how you protect yourself, what you long for, and what gets in the way of feeling understood or steady, as internal responses are often developed as adaptations to earlier experiences. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced for safety, clarity, and integration.
The first session is really about getting oriented together. I’ll ask about what’s bringing you in and what feels most present right now, and we’ll go over your intake form so I can better understand your experiences. I also pay attention to how you’re arriving emotionally—many people feel activated at the start—so I often introduce grounding early to help create more steadiness. We’ll begin to notice patterns in how you’ve been coping and the beliefs that have developed along the way
