Great to meet you!

With 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist, I help adults navigate anxiety, relationship and family difficulties, life transitions, trauma, and patterns that can leave them feeling overwhelmed or stuck.

My style is warm, direct, and highly individualized. I believe meaningful therapy involves more than simply being heard—it is an opportunity to understand yourself more deeply, recognize patterns that may no longer serve you, and develop new ways of approaching your relationships and your life.

I received my MSW from Fordham University and completed advanced post-master’s training at the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy in New York City.

My approach to therapy

My approach is active, collaborative, and grounded in psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy. Together, we look beyond the immediate problem to understand the experiences, relationships, and recurring patterns that may be influencing how you feel and respond today.

I also integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and practical problem-solving when helpful. My goal is to balance insight with meaningful change—helping you understand not only what is happening, but why, and what you can begin to do differently.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for me to understand what brings you to therapy, what is happening in your life now, and what you would like to change. I will ask thoughtful questions and begin exploring the experiences, relationships, and patterns that may be contributing to what you are feeling.

You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental conversation in which you feel heard and understood, while also beginning to gain clarity about what may be keeping you stuck. Together, we will start identifying a direction for our work and what meaningful change could look like for you.
