Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a Registered Play Therapist. I am originally from New York and I've been living in Alabama since 2013. My first experience in the field of social work, was as a Family Advocate with Long Island Head Start where I worked with at risk families. I earned my Associates degree in Human Services from Suffolk County Community College and bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Adelphi University. I have 20 years of experience working with children, families, individuals, and couples. I have treated individuals with a variety of mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, sexual abuse, and early childhood traumas. I have decided to focus my practice to working with adults dealing with past trauma experiences and helping them in their healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I approach each client’s journey with grace, kindness, and compassion, tailoring therapy to meet your unique needs. Using evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, I help clients process life’s challenges and rediscover their strength.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. You will develop the necessary tools to handle and cope with life's everyday stressors.
