Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive psychotherapy, and psychodynamic therapy, to help clients gain insight, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change. I also have experience providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy, allowing me to adapt my approach to different relationships and life circumstances.

My strengths include building strong therapeutic relationships, listening with empathy, and helping clients identify patterns that may be preventing them from reaching their goals. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, life transitions, or personal growth, I am committed to working alongside you to foster resilience, self-awareness, and emotional well-being.

I believe therapy is a partnership, and my goal is to empower clients with the tools, insight, and confidence to make lasting changes and live more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and discussing what brought you to therapy. This is an opportunity for you to share your concerns, goals, and any questions you may have about the therapeutic process. We will review your personal history, current challenges, and the areas of your life you’d like to improve, all at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is to create a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we’ll begin identifying your treatment goals and discuss an approach that best fits your needs. While the first session is primarily focused on understanding your unique experiences, you’ll leave with a clearer sense of how we can work together and what to expect in future sessions.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I’m committed to making the process as comfortable, collaborative, and empowering as possible.
