Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual, licensed Clinical Social Worker fluent in English and Spanish. I earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from New York University. Additionally, I have obtained certifications as a Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, in Rational-Emotive & Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and in Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling. With 14 years of professional experience, I have primarily worked with the Hispanic community.

My approach to therapy

As a mental health provider, I specialize in treating trauma-related disorders (including PTSD), depression, and anxiety in individuals who have experienced crimes, domestic violence, or emotional distress due to familial separation caused by immigration issues. My therapeutic approach is culturally sensitive and holistic, integrating Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Integrative Medicine interventions.

What you can expect from me

Through therapy, I integrate my professional expertise and personal life experience to support individuals facing difficult times and in need of professional guidance. Clients can expect to learn, develop, and apply practical coping skills to manage psychiatric symptoms effectively while maintaining their daily responsibilities.
