Great to meet you!

I work compassionately with clients to safely explore and understand how they came to be who they are and how they may best address their issues. I have extensive experience working with anxiety, depression and trauma. Discussing and exploring your unique individual history, mental processes, feelings, relationship patterns and possible trauma can lead to clearer understanding and insights which can be transformative. As an Asian-American woman, I am sensitive to social justice. In my work, I endeavor to treat all clients with respect, nonjudgment and open-mindedness.

My approach to therapy

Because no two clients are exactly alike, my approach is eclectic/integrative and based on each client’s unique needs. I draw selectively from the various psychological and body theories, approaches and techniques that I have trained in to best help each client. If desired, I can also work only using one type of therapy. I am an interactive therapist and will ask questions and give feedback when appropriate. My style is warm, inquisitive, and empathetic.

What you can expect from me

I will get to know you and your history through a series of questions to confirm we would be a good fit. In turn, I would also welcome questions from you so you can learn about how we could work together towards your goals.
