Great to meet you!

Welcome to Prosper Health & Wellness! As a board-certified family and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with over twenty-two-years of experience, I offer diagnostic assessments and medication management to patients across the lifespan. My practice integrates a combination of evidence- based psychopharmacologic management and psychotherapy. I have experience in treating preteens, teens, adults, and elders 65 and older.

My practice specializes in treating individuals across the lifespan, starting at age 12 and up, with a focus on managing conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, grief, PTSD, binge eating disorder, and PMDD. I offer both medication management and psychotherapy, using evidence-based modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), supportive therapy, and mindfulness-based strategies.

Currently, visits are conducted in person or via video. My goal is to foster a therapeutic alliance and become your partner in health! To schedule an appointment, please contact our office to schedule an appointment.

Currently accepting new patients in IL, IA, and ND.

My approach to therapy

As a dual board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 22 years of clinical experience, my approach to care is comprehensive, compassionate, and client-centered. I believe in building therapeutic relationships grounded in trust, respect, and cultural sensitivity.

My style is warm, collaborative, and empowering. I take time to truly listen to my clients, educate them about their diagnoses and treatment options, and engage them as active participants in their healing journey. I strive to meet each person where they are while helping them achieve improved mental wellness, emotional resilience, and quality of life.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to take away clarity, support, and a personalized path forward. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental, and structured environment where individuals feel safe, understood, and empowered. My sessions are rooted in collaboration—your voice matters, and together we work toward goals that promote healing, resilience, and long-term wellness.

Whether we are addressing depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, grief, or complex mood disorders, my focus is on building insight, improving functioning, and restoring hope. I use evidence-based approaches including medication management, psychoeducation, and therapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and supportive therapy.

My goal is to help you develop effective coping strategies, enhance emotional regulation, and feel more in control of your mental health journey. Clients often leave sessions feeling validated, equipped with practical tools, and supported with a clear treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and goals.
