Great to meet you!

Welcome!

Life can be challenging, and reaching out for support is a courageous step. I provide compassionate, culturally sensitive counseling for adults, children, and families navigating life’s complexities. My goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your unique path toward healing and growth.

I have over twelve years of experience working with children, families, and adults. I specialize in working with diverse, multicultural clients and have a wealth of experience helping individuals and families achieve meaningful treatment gains. I am passionate about honoring each person’s unique cultural background, values, and lived experiences while fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

My biggest strength as a provider is creating a safe, judgment-free space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I bring empathy, real talk, and a collaborative approach to help navigate challenges and work toward growth. I’m all about meeting people where they are, adapting to their unique needs, and using practical, evidence-based tools to create positive and lasting change. My focus is on building a strong, honest connection so we can work together to tackle what’s holding you back. Whether it’s stress, relationships, or finding balance, I provide practical tools and support to help you reach your goals and feel more in control.

My approach to therapy

Therapy is a collaborative journey. I believe in honoring your lived experiences while guiding you toward greater clarity, balance, and emotional wellness. Let’s work together to create meaningful change in your life.

I tailor my approach to fit your individual needs, blending evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Structural Family Therapy (SFT), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), Narrative, and Trauma-Focused Therapy. Whether you’re seeking support for anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or family dynamics, I’m here to help you build resilience, improve relationships, and enhance your overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

The first session is an opportunity to begin building a therapeutic relationship and creating a safe, supportive space for you to share your story. During our time together, we will discuss your goals, challenges, and what brings you to therapy. This is a time for me to learn about your unique experiences, values, and strengths, and for you to ask any questions you might have about the therapy process.

We’ll also talk about your hopes for therapy and work collaboratively to identify priorities for our time together. Whether you’re feeling uncertain or clear about what you want from therapy, we’ll explore your needs at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

The first session often focuses on understanding what is most important to you right now. While we won’t solve everything in one meeting, you can expect to leave with a sense of direction and a clearer idea of how we can work together to support your well-being.

Your story matters, and your journey toward healing starts here.
