Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Pastoral Counselor in Massachusetts, who has been in the helping profession for over 26 years. I have worked in corporate America, community mental health, the faith-based community, and as an academician. This exposure has equipped me with a wide range of skills, training, and knowledge that prepared me to be a resource and support to help others in accomplishing their life goals and spiritual and mental wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy includes my tasteful use of humor to help lighten the burdens of stress and struggles. I firmly believe in the concept of self-efficacy. Most people possess within themselves the capacity for self-healing. The therapist's role is to encourage and facilitate the process of self-actualization.

What you can expect from me

Counseling is not just a profession for me. It is a joyful fulfillment of my purpose in life, and my quest to make a difference in the lives of my clients. I live by the axiom, "Pain is inevitable; suffering is optional." Therefore, clients could expect empathy, honesty, and transparency. I do not purport to have the answers to your problems, but will partner with you in discovering the best solutions to your problems using a holistic and respectful approach.
