Great to meet you!

Hi, my name is Glenda and I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). If you are reading this text box it means you are on a journey. This journey can be challenging and overwhelming. I believe it is my job to care for you during trying time. If you have ADHD, anxiety or depression I believe we can work together to find an approach that fits your needs and goals. My priority is for you to feel comfortable discussing what you’re experiencing without fear of judgment. I value open communication and want each appointment to feel like a space where your concerns are taken seriously and you have an active voice in your care.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is supportive, compassionate, and centered around open conversation. I aim to create a space where you can comfortably talk through your emotions, stressors, and experiences without feeling judged or rushed. Through supportive and emotionally focused interventions, we can work on identifying patterns, processing difficult feelings, building healthier coping skills, and finding practical ways to navigate the challenges you may be facing.

What you can expect from me

We’ll begin with a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation so I can better understand your current concerns, symptoms, history, and treatment goals. From there, we’ll discuss the options that may be most appropriate for you, which can include medication management, supportive therapy, and referrals when needed. At follow-up visits, we’ll review your progress, address concerns, and make adjustments to your treatment plan as needed. We will take a proactive approach towards meeting your mental health goals.
