Great to meet you!

I’m Glendalee Muniz, a Southern-born, Bronx-raised Latina Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience in healthcare. My work is rooted in culturally responsive, holistic, and trauma-informed care. I specialize in supporting clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, aging, and identity exploration.

I also offer Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in partnership with a medical provider, for clients who feel called to deepen their healing beyond traditional talk therapy. KAP is an optional, integrative service that blends neuroscience, psychotherapy, and embodied healing.

Whether you’re seeking emotional clarity, nervous system regulation, support through aging, or intentional exploration of medical cannabis or KAP, I provide compassionate, grounded, and non-judgmental care. My work honors your culture, your lived experience, and your right to heal in a way that feels authentic and safe.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply client-centered. I blend evidence-based psychotherapy with cultural humility, mindfulness, and nervous system awareness. Therapy with me is not about fixing you; it’s about helping you understand yourself, reconnect to your body, and access your inner resilience.

For clients exploring Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy, I provide structured preparation, emotional containment during sessions, and thoughtful integration work afterward. The medicine may open the door, but therapy gives meaning to what comes through it.

I tailor each session to your needs, whether that means grounding, emotional processing, reflection, or practical tools. My role is to create safety, clarity, and empowerment so healing feels sustainable and real.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about connection and clarity. We’ll explore what brings you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and what kind of support feels most aligned for you. You can expect a calm, non-judgmental space where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself.

If you’re curious about KAP, we’ll also talk about readiness, intention, and whether it feels like a supportive option for your journey. No pressure, just honest exploration.

My goal is for you to leave your first session feeling seen, grounded, and supported, with a sense that you don’t have to navigate this alone.
