Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and 6 years as a licensed professional in Florida, I bring both compassion and clinical expertise to every client relationship. My work has spanned diverse settings, populations, and challenges—allowing me to offer personalized, culturally responsive care.

I specialize in helping individuals manage anxiety and stress, navigate relationship and family conflicts, process grief and bereavement, and heal from trauma and abuse. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents and individuals facing substance use challenges. In addition, I provide trauma-informed immigration evaluations, supporting clients through the emotional complexities of Extreme Hardship, Asylum, VAWA, T/U-Visas, and related petitions.

At the core of my practice is a deep belief in the resilience of the human spirit. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My Approach to Therapy

I believe that healing is not a one-size-fits-all process—and neither is therapy. Every individual brings a unique story, set of strengths, and challenges to the therapeutic space. That’s why I use an integrative, client-centered approach tailored specifically to each person’s needs and goals.

My work draws from a combination of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, Mindfulness Practices, and Strengths-Based approaches. For clients working through trauma, grief, or complex emotional histories, I also incorporate narrative therapy and psychoeducation to foster healing, insight, and resilience.

In addition to therapy, I provide comprehensive immigration evaluations with a trauma-informed lens. As a certified expert witness in immigration court, I offer clinical assessments that meet legal standards while honoring the emotional realities of each client’s experience. I have supported individuals through evaluations for Hardship Waivers, Asylum, VAWA, T-Visas, U-Visas, and related cases, always with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and clinical integrity.

Ultimately, my goal is to meet you where you are and walk beside you with empathy, honesty, and professional expertise. Whether you're navigating anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or immigration-related stress, we will work together to find the path forward that feels most empowering and effective for you.

What you can expect from me

What You Can Expect from Therapy with Me

Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of courage—and I honor that deeply. I believe in treating every client with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, no matter where you are on your journey. From our very first session, you can expect to enter a nonjudgmental, affirming space where your story will be heard and your goals will be prioritized.

Our work together will be collaborative and empowering. I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to fit your unique experiences, strengths, and needs. Therapy isn’t about forcing you into a predefined mold—it’s about helping you gain the insight, tools, and emotional clarity you need to create lasting change.

Through our time together, my hope is that you will walk away with:

  • Greater self-awareness and emotional insight
  • Improved coping strategies and communication skills
  • Tools for managing anxiety, stress, or depressive symptoms
  • Clarity in your relationships and personal boundaries
  • A stronger sense of self-worth and inner peace
  • A safe space to explore trauma, grief, or past experiences at your own pace

I also strongly believe that the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important elements of successful treatment. That’s why I show up with authenticity, empathy, and a commitment to helping you feel truly supported. Whether you’re navigating a difficult life transition, processing long-standing emotional wounds, or seeking personal growth, I am here to walk alongside you.

Together, we will work toward a more fulfilling and meaningful life—one where you feel more in control, more grounded, and more connected to your sense of purpose.
