Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida with over 14 years of experience helping individuals navigate difficult life experiences. I specialize in working with survivors of trauma and abuse, balancing caregiving, work stress and anxiety; and individuals healing from domestic, dating, or sexual violence. I’m particularly passionate about supporting parents of children with special needs, helping them manage stress, burnout, and emotional overload in a compassionate and empowering way. Morning appointments available (9:30am–12:30pm) for clients who prefer daytime sessions.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. My approach is supportive, empathetic, and tailored to your specific needs. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan based on your unique goals and what will benefit you most. I integrate several evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to help clients move forward in meaningful ways.

What you can expect from me

From day one, my goal is to provide a safe, welcoming space where you feel heard and respected. In our first session, we’ll explore what brings you to therapy and begin identifying goals that feel realistic and supportive of your healing and growth.

I am bilingual (English/Spanish), a Certified Addiction Professional (CAP), and hold additional certifications including CCTP-II (Certified Clinical Trauma Professional – Level II), CATP (Certified Adolescent Trauma Professional), and ICADC (Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor). I also have extensive experience supporting individuals with substance use concerns.
