Dr. Gloria Akunna

Dr. Gloria is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner licensed in New Jersey. She has over a decade of psychiatric experience working with teens and adults in various settings; including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, addiction and recovery, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). She provides medication management for anxiety, depression, bipolar, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, eating disorders, psychotic disorders, and other issues.

Dr. Gloria will begin with a comprehensive, diagnostic evaluation which is an important first step to finding the right solution for your mental health needs. She will work with you to devise an evidence-based treatment plan that focuses on your unique individual needs and integrates cognitive-behavioral modifications and medication management.
