Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Gloria, and I believe that healing happens when we feel truly seen, understood, and supported. I bring a compassionate, direct, and adaptable approach to my work, grounded in a genuine curiosity about each person’s unique story.
Professionally, I have a Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology from Troy University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Ohio University. I’m also trained in a range of evidence-based modalities including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My goal is to tailor treatment to each client’s individual needs, meeting them where they are with respect and flexibility.
My experience spans over a decade, including running the Tribeca 12 outpatient center for the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in New York for three years. I currently serve as the Clinical Director at Acqua Recovery, where I oversee care for adults and families navigating complex mental health and substance use challenges. I’ve worked with diverse populations—ranging from individuals involved in the criminal justice system to people of affluence and high-achieving young adults—always with a focus on treating trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use.
Outside of work, I’m a mom and an outdoor enthusiast who thrives on adventure. Whether it's hiking and mountain biking in the summer, or snowshoeing and skiing in the winter, nature is a big part of my life. I share it all with my two big mountain dogs, who remind me daily of the power of presence, patience, and play.
Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and I’m here to walk beside you as we navigate your unique path to healing—whether you're working through past trauma, managing anxiety or depression, or rebuilding your life in recovery.
