Great to meet you!

It is an honor and pleasure to be part of this mental health network. Allow me to be part of your journey in this season of your life. My name is Gloria T Burgos, I am a Hispanic female. I am bi-cultural, bilingual English and Spanish. I moved to the United States a long time ago, and I have been naturalized in this beautiful country. I am a single woman and mother of three. I have been familiar with military life for more than ten years. I had the opportunity to live overseas and expand my vision and knowledge of a lot of different cultures. I have been supporting different mission such as the immigrant population with Office of Refuge and Resettlement (ORR) and CBP, as a clinician and lead clinician. I completed my education at Webster University Ft. Bliss campus, as a Master of Art in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and obtained my license as Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas (# 84779) and EMDR trained.

I am a mental health professional, who loves to help others and be part of a solution. I had the honor of working with children, adolescents, adults, veterans, and elderly people. I have provided individual sessions, outpatient treatments, process groups, crisis intervention, and psychoeducational groups as well. I believe in empowering individuals by helping them improve their self-esteem, setting new healthy boundaries, as well as learning how to regulate their emotions positively.

My approach to therapy

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who takes an integrative approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities to tailor interventions to each client’s unique needs.
