Great to meet you!

As a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 25+ years experience working within the public health sector, I successfully treated individuals with mood disorders, anxiety, and psychosis. My approach is grounded in The Strengths Based Treatment Model as I believe the best way to heal is by drawing upon the inherent strengths we already possess. My years of management experience has also prepared me to address work/life balance, job-related stress and burnout.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is client-centered, solution-focused, relational, warm, inquisitive, and punctuated with humor. I have a positive outlook on life and an encouraging style with a keen clinical perspective.

What you can expect from me

In our first few sessions, we will explore what are your goals in therapy, and how will we know that the therapy has been successful. The therapeutic journey is different for everyone - sometimes the identified goals can be achieved in just a few sessions, but other times more complicated issues will be revealed and we will adjust our treatment together accordingly. We are partners on this journey and the goal is for you to feel better, and more hopeful about your life.
