Great to meet you!

With more than 28 years of experience in the social services field, including 21 years as a therapist, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, client-centered care in a supportive and welcoming environment. My experience includes working as a home-based therapist, community mental health outpatient therapist, behavior consultant, private practice therapist, and school social worker, giving me a broad understanding of the unique challenges individuals and families face. I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) in 2005 and have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) since 2007. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered as we work together toward meaningful growth and lasting positive change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, trauma-informed, and client-centered, recognizing that every person has a unique story and deserves an individualized approach to care. I strive to create a safe, welcoming, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. By meeting clients where they are, I work collaboratively with them to identify their strengths, address challenges, and develop meaningful goals that reflect their wants and needs. My approach is flexible and solution-focused, allowing therapy to be tailored to each individual's journey while fostering healing, resilience, and lasting personal growth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can begin sharing your story at your own pace. My goal is to create a safe and inviting space where you feel comfortable exploring your emotions, experiences, and the challenges that have brought you to therapy. We will discuss what you hope to gain from therapy, identify your goals, and begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. This first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and determine how we can work together to support your growth and well-being.
