Dr. Gloria C. Nwachukwu, DNP, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of healthcare experience. She earned her BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2010, her MSN-FNP from South University in 2015, and her DNP-PMHNP from Walden University in 2024. Dr. Nwachukwu has dedicated more than seven years to caring for veterans and patients with mental illness in primary care, delivering compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered healthcare. She is a respected educator, mentor, and leader who actively supports professional development and nursing excellence. Dr. Nwachukwu is passionate about mentoring future healthcare professionals and advancing the nursing profession. Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys reading, cooking, singing, dancing, worship music, and engaging with her community, reflecting her commitment to lifelong learning, service, and leadership.

Dr. Gloria C. Nwachukwu, DNP, PMHNP-BC, FNP-BC, believes in providing compassionate, evidence-based, and patient-centered mental healthcare that addresses the unique needs of each individual. Her approach focuses on building trusting therapeutic relationships through active listening, empathy, and collaboration, ensuring that clients feel respected, supported, and empowered throughout their treatment journey. She works closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that integrate psychiatric evaluation, medication management, psychotherapy principles, health education, and lifestyle interventions. With expertise in treating a wide range of mental health conditions across the lifespan, Dr. Nwachukwu emphasizes holistic care by considering the biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors that influence mental wellness.
