Great to meet you!

It’s exhausting when your own mind feels like a hurdle. Maybe you’re navigating intrusive thoughts that feel impossible to shut off, or you’re struggling to get things done and remember what’s important while your brain feels like it’s constantly misfiring. Perhaps you’re grieving a version of yourself that felt certain, watching the life you planned get derailed by chronic illness or the weight of a diagnosis you didn’t ask for. When your "to-do" list feels like a mountain and your past keeps creeping into your present, it’s easy to feel lost or, worse, dismissed by the people who are supposed to help.

My approach to therapy

You’re heard here. You know your life best; I’m here to help you navigate it. Whether rewriting your story, facing intrusive thoughts, or exploring your values, I offer a culturally responsive, nonjudgmental space. No clinical coldness or scripts, just a toolkit for your unique brain, identity, and energy.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is all about getting to know you who you are, what you’re struggling with, and what you’re hoping life can feel like instead. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what’s been weighing on you the most, and what you want help with right now. There’s no pressure to tell your whole life story at once; we go at a pace that feels comfortable.

I’ll ask gentle, curious questions so I can understand your experiences and what you need from therapy. You can also ask me anything about how I work. By the end of the session, we’ll talk through a clear plan for moving forward together so you leave knowing what the next steps are and what therapy with me will look like.

Most people walk out of the first session feeling relieved like they finally said things they’ve been carrying alone for a long time and someone actually understood.
