Great to meet you!

I am a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner and board-certified in both Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) roles, which allows me to deliver comprehensive medical and mental health care across the lifespan. With over 15 years of experience across diverse areas of healthcare, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, collaborative, personalized, and evidence-based mental health care. I specialize in treating conditions such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, PTSD, bipolar disorder, substance use disorders, and other mood and behavioral health conditions. My dual certification enables me to address both physical and mental health needs in an integrated manner, recognizing how closely connected the mind and body truly are.

My approach to therapy

My philosophy approach to providing care is rooted in a compassionate, collaborative, holistic, and evidence-based approach. Effective healthcare begins with listening. I take time to understand each patient's concerns, goals, and life circumstances, working together with them to develop individualized treatment plans that are realistic, respectful, and empowering.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, we will focus on building a therapeutic provider-client alliance. We will focus on understanding your concerns, your goals for care, and collaboratively formulate an individualized plan for treatment. This initial session is designed to be thorough, supportive, and informative, while creating a comfortable space for open communication. We will review your medical and mental history, current symptoms, medications, and any previous treatments. You may be asked about lifestyle factors, stressors, sleep, and overall well-being to gain a complete picture of your health. You will have time to share your concerns, ask questions, and discuss what prompted you to seek care. You will receive clear explanations about your condition, treatment approach, and next steps before you leave.
