Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can feel a little intimidating—especially when you know something feels off but aren’t quite sure how to put it into words. The good news? You don’t need to have the perfect words, explanation or a five year plan of your therapy goals to start your mental health journey. My expertise lies with supporting women and as well as first and second generation immigrants navigating culture, gender/family expectations, relationships, independence and identity. Additionally, I am experienced in treating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD and the ups and downs of navigating major life changes.

I believe therapy should be a space where you can talk about the things that may feel awkward, complicated, or even a little “Are we really talking about this?”—without fear of judgment. Therapy doesn’t have to feel stiff or overly clinical. My goal is to cultivate a space that feels safe enough to be honest, curious enough to explore, and comfortable enough to show up as your full self—no perfect answers required.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach to therapy where you are the expert on your life and experiences, while I bring the clinical training and insight to help us understand and address what you’re experiencing/navigating. We will look at how your past experiences, relationships, culture, and current circumstances are affecting you today, while also focusing on sustainable ways to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to share what brought you to therapy, at whatever pace feels comfortable. We’ll talk about what you’re feeling and experiencing, and what you would like to be different. Most importantly, I want you to feel like you can show up as yourself—not the version of you that has it all together, keeps everyone happy, or says “I’m fine” when you’re very much not fine. Just you, that’s more than enough.
