Great to meet you!

As a marriage and family therapist with over 8 years of experience, I have dedicated my practice to the treatment of the most severe mental illnesses and substance use disorders in acute care. I am also a certified DBT Therapist committed to the treatment of complex trauma and dissociation and its effects on the family.

My approach to therapy

The idea of going to counseling can be stressful. Some believe counseling is for people who are severely disturbed or have extraordinary problems. Counseling is for everyone as we all experience stress, challenges with our families and relationship problems. Everyone's problems are unique; therefore, your treatment will need to be customized to meet your treatment goals, at your own pace. My commitment is to be thorough and careful but also to not prolong your treatment longer than necessary.

What you can expect from me

Choosing a therapist is an important decision. A therapist will help you unpack your emotions, experiences, memories, and fears. The first step is to make an appointment and determine if this is the best time for you to start. We could all use somebody to talk to.
