Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in trauma-informed community mental health, clinical supervision, & program leadership. I earned my graduate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and have spent years working with individuals, couples, & families navigating complex trauma and high-stress life transitions. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, relationship challenges, & major life changes. My approach is direct, relational, and grounded, with a focus on naming patterns clearly rather than avoiding discomfort. That honesty often creates deeper insight and lasting change, rather than short-term relief.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative and grounded in the belief that the mind, body, and nervous system are always in conversation. I use somatic awareness and mindfulness to help clients notice how stress, emotion, and trauma show up in the body, not just in thoughts. I take an attachment-forward, psychodynamic approach to understand how past relationships and experiences continue to shape present-day patterns. I also work holistically, recognizing that sleep, nutrition, physical health, and environment all play a role in mental well-being. My style is honest and direct—sometimes uncomfortable—but collaborative, with a focus on meaningful, lasting change rather than quick fixes.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused and honest. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and begin identifying the patterns that shape how you think, feel, and relate. Early on, I’ll ask you to “run your story”—to tell your personal narrative in your own words. The emotional response that shows up as you tell it helps us quickly identify where attention, healing, and growth are most needed. From there, we’ll clarify goals and set a clear direction for meaningful, lasting change.
