Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker with more than 40 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, couples, and older adults navigate life’s challenges. I provide compassionate, client-focused, strength-based, trauma-informed care in a space that feels safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental. Over the years, I’ve worked with concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, stress, relationship issues, and major life transitions, and I work with each person to identify goals that feel meaningful and realistic.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, gentle, collaborative, and grounded in genuine connection. I believe people do their best work in therapy when they feel heard, respected, and understood, so I focus on building trust while also helping clients move toward practical change. I draw on a broad range of experience, including work with adolescents, families, couples, crisis intervention, and trauma-informed care, and I tailor therapy to the person in front of me rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a supportive conversation where we begin to understand what’s bringing you in and what you hope will feel different in your life. We’ll talk about your concerns, your strengths, and the goals you’d like to work toward, whether that involves anxiety, depression, relationship stress, aging, or feeling stuck in a difficult season. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling comfortable, understood, and clearer about the next steps.
