Great to meet you!

I’m Gouni Aicha Bouraima, PMHNP-BC, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Symphony Psychiatric, PLLC. I have a strong background in both outpatient and crisis mental health care, allowing me to support clients through a wide range of challenges. I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, PTSD, and ADHD, using a personalized approach that blends medication management, psychoeducation, and lifestyle strategies. My care is rooted in evidence-based practice and guided by compassion, cultural sensitivity, and collaboration. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful progress toward emotional wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is client-centered, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practice. I believe in creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their mental health journey. Together, we explore concerns, set meaningful goals, and develop a tailored treatment plan that may include medication management, psychoeducation, and lifestyle strategies. I place strong emphasis on open communication, so clients can share feedback and adjust their care plan as needed. My focus is on treating the whole person, not just symptoms, so clients can experience lasting improvement in their overall well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a supportive and collaborative environment where their experiences are validated and their goals are prioritized. My aim is for each session to provide clarity, practical strategies, and a sense of progress, whether that’s finding effective ways to manage symptoms, improving emotional resilience, or gaining a deeper understanding of their mental health. Together, we set realistic, achievable goals and work toward them at a pace that feels comfortable. I strive to ensure clients leave sessions feeling heard, informed, and equipped with tools they can apply in daily life, fostering long-term well-being and confidence in managing their mental health.
