I’m Grace Ardila, LCSW, a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist in New Jersey supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout. Many of my clients are high-responsibility professionals who appear strong on the outside but feel emotionally exhausted internally. I work especially well with ministers and leaders facing role-related stress and pressure, while also supporting adults managing chronic health conditions, including Type 1 Diabetes. I provide a grounded, compassionate space where you can slow down and address what’s been weighing on you.
My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and structured. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy to help clients understand patterns, regulate emotions, and build healthier boundaries. I focus on both practical tools and deeper insight, especially for anxiety, burnout, unresolved trauma, and the emotional impact of chronic illness. For clients who desire it, I can thoughtfully integrate faith into the therapeutic process in a clinically grounded way.
In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what’s bringing you to therapy and what feels most overwhelming right now. I’ll guide the conversation with structure while making sure you feel heard and respected. Together, we’ll clarify goals and begin identifying practical next steps, whether that’s strengthening coping skills, improving boundaries, or addressing deeper emotional patterns. My aim is for you to leave feeling supported, clear, and hopeful about the work ahead.
