Great to meet you!

My practice specializes in help young women and queer individuals struggling with people-pleasing, confidence issues, and boundaries within family and intimate relationships. I love to help my clients find their voice, learn to listen to their emotions without being ruled by them, and enact healthier boundaries that reflect their worth and values. I also specialize in play and expressive art therapy for children and adolescents. My style is warm and non-judgemental in its foundation, but direct and evidence-based.

Outside of the office, I love thrifting, interior design and decorating, cooking, baking, hiking, traveling, and spending time with our two dogs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is rooted in person-centered philosophy and positive psychology, while drawing from evidence-based tools from DBT, CBT, and ACT. My goal for therapy is focused more on personal growth instead of symptom reduction, as I try to emphasize each client as a whole person and not a diagnosis.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we will first explore the challenges that brought you to therapy, and what sort of therapy you are looking for. We will then do a more thorough exploration, at your pace, of your life up to this point, with a focus on what you feel is relevant for me to know. What you share is completely up to you.
