Great to meet you!

I hold a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Walden University, with a concentration in trauma-informed care. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC), as well as certified in Art Therapy, Play Therapy, and Sandplay Therapy. My early career centered on supporting children and families navigating trauma, substance use, and instability, as well as individuals transitioning from incarceration and reintegrating into their communities. These experiences continue to shape my person-centered, integrative approach to care.

In my practice, I support adults and children through an individualized, holistic lens. My therapeutic philosophy draws from Person-Centered, Holistic, and Psychodynamic therapies—approaches that value empathy, self-awareness, and exploration of the connections between past and present. I believe all people have an innate capacity for growth, resilience, and healing when they are met with safety, compassion, and curiosity.

My approach to therapy

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of emotional and behavioral needs. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, stress, behavior modification, and addictions. I draw primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Humanistic approaches, using a blend of humor, reflective inquiry, and clear, compassionate communication. I believe therapy should be honest, effective, and at times even enjoyable.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, my goal is to help you become the most authentic, grounded, and empowered version of yourself. I believe our past experiences shape how we see the world, yet those lessons don’t always serve us in the present. When we hold too tightly to outdated beliefs or unhelpful thinking patterns, it can become difficult to respond flexibly to life’s current challenges. Therapy provides space to untangle those patterns, explore new perspectives, and create meaningful change.
