Great to meet you!

Hi there, my name is Grace Kim (she/her), a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner providing care in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York.

I work with individuals navigating mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, identity exploration, and eating disorders through a HAES/body liberation lens. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from UCLA and completed my Master of Science in Nursing at Yale University.

My practice is shaped by the belief that healing is not a linear process, and that care should never feel coercive or transactional. I believe firmly that my work is not to "fix" people, rather to listen and understand how pain shapes us, how care reshapes us, and how we meet each other in between--in healing.

My approach to therapy

I view myself as a patient, gentle listener, mentor, and co-collaborator in each patient's healing journey. Throughout the treatment process, I provide thorough psychoeducation, explore various treatment options, including deprescribing, and collaborate with patients to develop a personalized, practical, anti-coercive, and effective plan of action.

What you can expect from me

I believe that receiving a prescription is never the end of the story. My goal is to educate and encourage clients to actively engage in their care and work towards sustainable treatment outcomes.
