Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 30 years of nursing, clinical, and leadership experience. I provide compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, sleep concerns, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. My approach combines careful assessment, medication management, education, and collaborative treatment planning tailored to each client’s needs and lifestyle. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and centered on each client’s individual needs, concerns, and goals. I begin with a thorough psychiatric assessment and work with clients to develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, lifestyle strategies, and coordination with other healthcare providers. I have a special interest in anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, sleep concerns, trauma, grief, and women’s mental health. My goal is to provide clear guidance in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, informed, and actively involved in their care.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients can expect a welcoming, private, and nonjudgmental environment where they can speak openly about their concerns. I will complete a thorough psychiatric assessment, including symptoms, medical history, medications, lifestyle, strengths, and treatment goals. Together, we will discuss possible diagnoses and develop an individualized care plan that may include medication management, education, supportive strategies, and referrals when appropriate. My goal is for each client to leave feeling heard, informed, and clear about the next steps in their care.
