Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Grace Polanco, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I specialize in working with adults and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, life transitions, eating disorders, and addictions. I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques based on your particular needs to help you feel empowered to guide your own healing and life goals.

My approach to therapy

My therapy technique is based on a humanistic approach, which is a focus on seeing the world through your eyes to foster growth, and resilience. You are the expert of your life, and my approach is to nurture that truth. I often reflect on the dimensions of wellness in session, and will utilize tools from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Sessions are currently being offered via teletherapy.

What you can expect from me

You are free to express your thoughts, feelings, or desires without judgement here. We can work together to deepen insight, explore effective coping skills, and cultivate an awareness of personal fulfilment.
