Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist and have been working in private practice for five years. I completed my clinical training at university counseling centers working with undergraduate and graduate students with a broad range of psychological concerns. I specialize in the treatment of depression, trauma, major life transitions, intimacy concerns, and ADHD. I also provide support to individuals pursuing highly specialized and rigorous careers in the arts, music, or sports.

My approach to therapy

I use a psychodynamic lens in therapy which means that sessions focus on depth and exploration. It is an approach that understands that you are not just a collection of symptoms but a whole person. In addition, I integrate interventions such as CBT to manage distressing behaviors in the moment, so that we can focus on the deep therapeutic work that promotes lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session you can expect to discuss your current concerns and your history. We'll work together to identify your goals for therapy and discuss a treatment plan that addresses your specific needs. The goal of this session is for you to feel heard, understood, and like the changes you are hoping for are possible.
