Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Grace, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and I'm so glad you're here. I am passionate about helping people connect with their inner child. I believe therapy is about self-discovery that leads to a deeper connection with who we are at the core (before all of the noise). As an Asian American therapist and a mom of two, I bring compassion, cultural sensitivity, and a trauma-informed approach to each session with my clients.

My approach to therapy

I lead with curiosity, compassion, and a genuine desire to understand who you are beyond the challenges you're facing. Together, we'll explore the experiences and relationships that have shaped you, helping us understand not only what's happening today, but also why certain patterns may have developed.

I believe healing begins when we feel safe, seen, and understood. I partner with you to identify goals that reflect your values and needs, while equipping you with practical tools and deeper insight to create lasting change. When appropriate, I also integrate EMDR to help process difficult experiences and support lasting healing.

My hope is that through our work together, you'll experience greater confidence, inner peace, and the freedom to live more fully as your authentic self.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. My approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood.

I'll ask thoughtful questions to learn more about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, your strengths, and what you hope to gain from our work together. We'll also spend some time exploring your personal history—including important experiences from childhood—as these often provide valuable context for understanding present-day patterns and challenges.

Rather than focusing only on the symptoms you're experiencing, we'll begin exploring the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped you. This helps us understand not only what is happening today, but also why these patterns may have developed and where healing can begin.

There is no expectation to share everything all at once. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, collaborating to identify meaningful goals and laying the foundation for meaningful, lasting change.
