Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Grace, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin. Throughout my career, I have worked extensively within hospital-based Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP). This experience (working with patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, sleep issues, and PTSD) has given me a deep understanding of the profound sense of helplessness and struggle one feels when caught in the middle of an intense emotional storm.

As a BIPOC, bicultural, female therapist, as well as someone who has dealt with discrimination personally, I specialize in helping clients navigate the complex trauma related to experiencing systemic oppression. I also understand the stress related to visa and immigration issues. I will provide a safe space where your emotions (anxious, depressed, etc.) are truly seen and understood.

My approach to therapy

My clinical approach offer culturally attuned and trauma-informed care where we don't just manage symptoms; we honor your survival. My goal is not only to support you through immediate difficulties but to help you build a resilient emotional system, allowing you to eventually face life’s challenges independently and with confidence.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a comprehensive 60-minute space dedicated to understanding your history and current needs. It will be a warm, supportive environment where I aim to accompany you as we begin to explore your inner world and ensure your previous pain or trauma is truly seen and understood. We will typically complete an intake interview and a biopsychosocial assessment to gather a deep understanding of your background. This first meeting serves as the foundation for our work together, allowing us to identify your specific goals and begin the process of helping you build the emotional resilience needed to eventually face life's challenges independently.
