Great to meet you!

I’m Gracie Smith, a Marriage and Family Therapist (she/her/hers) from Stockton, Ca. I do talk therapy and am trained in EMDR actively seeking continuing education on the topic to remain up-to-date on best practice standards. As a Stockton native, I value serving Central Valley communities and marginalized populations, including Black, Middle Eastern, Native American, visually impaired, and LGBT+ communities. My goal is to help you build a practical toolbox of skills that strengthens your sense of self, purpose, and efficacy from an integrative trauma-informed lens. I am a good therapist for athletes and folks struggling to transition into a new phase of life, or folks with trauma or PTSD.

I enjoy taking time in nature, going on walks, watching the WNBA, listening to podcasts, and spending time with my animals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, collaborative, and individualized rather than “cookie cutter.” I believe trust and a strong therapeutic relationship are essential. I offer a non-judgmental space while providing insight, education, and “tough love” when helpful. Together, we’ll identify practical strategies for your goals in therapy and everyday life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll build a trusting relationship, discuss what brings you to therapy, and identify meaningful goals. We’ll explore your needs, strengths, and the support that best fits your life. Change can be hard, and reaching out is brave—if you’re ready to prioritize yourself, schedule a session and take the first step.
