My approach aims to be supportive of your needs. As a client, you will guide me through your fear, emotions, and distress. As your clinician, I will show you how you can overcome them. To achieve my purpose, I use a variety of modalities, with which, you will become acquainted.
During the first session, we will get to know each other. You will talk about your story, and what made decide to request therapy. You will let me know what you expect to achieve from therapy. Together, we will set goals for your treatment. These goals will not be set in stone, they could change to fit your needs.
