Great to meet you!

Hello

My name is Richard Corbin, a Licensed Professional Counselor, and for the past 40+I have been providing psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, couples and families.

I am semi-retired but continue to enjoy offering help to those who come my way. I treat depression, anxiety disorders, relationship issues, childhood trauma and guidance through major life events. My approach is compassionate inquiry and and support.

My approach to therapy

I describe my style of counseling as non-direct; I prefer to ask questions, getting a good family and medical and mental health personal history. I treat adolescents and adults and welcome anyone who comes from within the LGBTQ community.

What you can expect from me

In the first session I establish who is in your family, your supportive social network and inquire about the status of relationships as well as your personal goals in coming for assistance.
